A spark, reflecting a dream for better healthcare for everyone, was enough to build an organisation. Virtus - Centre for Medical Research was established a few years ago by a small group of passionate individuals with a deep interest in healthcare. Their vision and inspiration ignited the creation of this organisation, and their selfless desire to contribute their services became the driving force behind this establishment. Virtus is a Non-Governmental, Non-Profit Organisation that was officially created in January 2022. Our vision is to ensure improved healthcare and well-being for all individuals irrespective of their gender, nationality, geographical location, or social status. As the organisation’s founder reminds us regularly, “we must always listen to the patient”. This entails actively listening to their worries, their needs, and understanding what they are trying to communicate verbally and non-verbally. By doing so, we aim to identify and address the full spectrum of issues that impact their physical health, mental well-being, and social concerns, all of which are intertwined with their overall health status. By actively listening to the concerns and experiences of individuals, we have uncovered a multitude of health-related issues that serve as our motivation to initiate projects for the collective well-being. This initial spark served as a powerful inspiration, attracting an ever-growing number of people to join our cause. Today, we take great pride in being part of an organisation that has a substantial team of talented individuals and subject matter experts.
